International literacy day was observed in the school to make the students identify the importance of being literate and also to understand more about various literacy campaigns being held in and around.
Students of classes VI, VII and VIII participated in various activities like Poster Making, Essay writing competition etc.
Ms Jayalalitha.T (Teacher- Social science) received the prestigious P.N Panicker Award organized by KANFED– Kasargod District on the auspicious day and made the observation quite meaningful. She got the award for her noble service as a literacy instructor in stage 1 and Master Trainee in stage 2 of the KANFED literacy Mission.
