As part of the Doctors’ Day celebrations, ISD Senior Secondary (CBSE) English School, Payyanur organised a meaningful programme titled “Healing Hearts – A Tribute to Doctors.” The programme aimed to express gratitude and appreciation for the selfless service rendered by doctors in safeguarding the health and well-being of society.
A team of six students, with representatives from Classes VI to XII, visited three hospitals in Payyanur—Jasna Hospital, BKM Hospital, and Priyadharshini Hospital. The students honoured the doctors with tokens of appreciation and conveyed heartfelt wishes on the occasion of Doctors’ Day. They also interacted with the doctors and acknowledged their unwavering dedication, compassion, and commitment to humanity.
The students were accompanied by the teachers namely, Mrs. Saranya. K. M, Mr. Janardhanan. K , Mrs. Anitha. K. V, and Ms. Rajula. M. Raghavan.
The doctors warmly received the students and appreciated the thoughtful initiative taken by the school. The programme successfully instilled in the students a deep sense of respect and gratitude towards the medical fraternity while highlighting the invaluable role doctors play in building a healthier society.
