The 37th Annual Day celebrations of ISD Senior Secondary English School, located near the historic Uliyath Kadavu, the land of the renowned Salt Satyagraha in North Kerala, were held on 22 December,2025 in a grand and colourful manner. The event, titled Florescence – Season 4, featured a variety of vibrant cultural programmes that captivated the audience.
The programme was presided over by the School CEO, Mr. K. P. Muhammad Saad. The formal inauguration was carried out by the Chairman, Mr. K. M. Ashraf – Grand Tejas. The School Manager, Dr. Ahmed Shafi, delivered the welcome address, while the Principal, Mr. T. P. Suresh Poduval, presented the annual report.
The Vice Principal, Mrs. K. P. Divya, SMC Member Mr. M. Abdul Razak, and Alumni Association representative Mrs. Nadeeda Majeed offered felicitations.
Endowment awards instituted in memory of the Founder President Dr. K. P. O. Sulaiman and Treasurer Mr. N. Muhammad Haji were presented to meritorious students of Classes 10 and 12 who excelled in curricular and co-curricular activities. The awards were handed over to P. K. Farha Fathima (Class 10) and S. A. P. Muhammad Tufail (Class 12) by Dr. K. S. Jasna, Dr. Ahmed Shafi, Vice Chairman Haji M. K. Thayyil, and Treasurer Kakkulath Abdul Khader.
Ms. Jayalalitha.T ,Teacher and Mrs.Ragini, Non- teaching Staff who are retiring this year after rendering 30 years of distinguished service to the school, were honoured on the stage by the school management and the Alumni Association (ISDAA) with mementoes and cash awards.
The Head Girl, Noor V. P. M, delivered the vote of thanks.
This was followed by an exhilarating cultural evening. Students from Classes 1 to 12 showcased outstanding performances, making the event a memorable one.
