Onam was celebrated with various programmes at ISD Senior Secondary School. Students from different houses welcomed the festival with colourful Onappookkalam (floral carpet designs) that amazed even the judges. The celebrations also featured traditional Onappattu (Onam songs), lively performances by kindergarten students, and a graceful Thiruvathira dance by the primary section. The Class XII students presented a beautiful dance performance as well.
Organized under the leadership of the school programme committee with the joint support of the Principal and the management, the event became a delightful experience with active student participation and the variety of competitions. A sumptuous Onasadya (traditional Onam feast), including Payasam, was served to all .
